Public Health Emergency Plan Writing Workshop: Emergency Communication for Congregations
NYDIS is offering a free 2.5 hour Crisis and Emergency Risk Communications (CERC) writing workshop for congregation decision-makers tasked with writing a risk communications plan. This workshop is targeted specifically towards congregations who do not have a risk communications plan in place. Space is limited to 10 participants in order to provide individual guidance for plan writing during the workshop. The training will be held using an online webinar platform. All workshop materials will be included digitally. Participants should come prepared to write plans for their congregation or organization.
Due to the recent public health emergency in New York City, NYDIS has mobilized to provide a series of workshops that build congregational capacity. Register to learn best practices for how congregation or faith-based organization leaders can share critical information with congregants, staff, and clients immediately after a crisis when lives and safety are at risk.
If your congregation or faith-based organization does not have risk communications plan, and you have been tasked with creating these plans, please join us for this workshop.
