Public Health Emergency Plan Writing: COOP for Congregations with No Plan 03/17
NYDIS offers a free 2.5 hour Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) writing workshop for congregation decision-makers tasked with writing an emergency plan. This training is specifically for religious leaders who do not already have an emergency action plan in place for their congregation. All workshop materials are included. Space is limited to 16 participants per training and the training will be held remotely via an online webinar platform.
Have you ever wondered how your house of worship or faith-based organization will continue to fulfill its vital role in your community post-emergency? Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) is a useful tool that will help your house of worship or faith-based organization have a plan for when unexpected disruptions occur. Due to the recent Coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak, NYDIS will be including pandemic table top exercises to better equip congregations and religious leaders. During this 3-hour training, we will go over the basics of a COOP plan and the information you need to build a plan for your house of worship or faith-based organization. By working through various tabletop exercises, you will leave with a basic COOP plan that you can share and implement with the leadership of your organization.
Join us for an informative morning and invest in building the resiliency of your house of worship or faith-based organization!
