Programs
NYDIS and its members work to increase community resilience and promote the development and coordination of effective response and recovery programs. These programs embody our unwavering commitment to protect our communities from disasters and create a resilient New York City. From short- to long-term recovery, NYDIS’ recovery programs assist NYC religious leaders, provide financial, mental health, and spiritual services to disaster survivors, and support high-impact advocacy initiatives to ensure sustainable recovery and spiritual stability for all survivors of disaster.
