NDIN Tip Sheet: National Faith-Based Disaster Service Organizations

Although national faith-based organizations are usually the primary disaster relief
and short-term recovery providers, their contributions to disaster response are as
varied as their spiritual practices. They also are critical in organizing and funding
the long-term recovery coordinated by Long-Term Recovery Organizations
(LTROs). Below is a list of most of the national organizations that every LTRO
and religious leader should have.
