NYDIS Evacuee Marketplace (Closed)

While conducting exit interviews and unmet needs assessments at the NYC Hurricane Evacuee Services Center in East Harlem in 2017, NYDIS recognized the primary reported unmet need was clothing, and in response opened an Evacuee Marketplace distributing new, free winter clothes and household goods. NYDIS’ Evacuee Marketplace remained open after the Service Center closed.
