Boricuas Remember – 1 Year After Hurricane Maria

On September 20th #1YearAfterMaria NYDIS and our partners from the NYC-Puerto Rico Long-Term Recovery Group, Power4Puerto Rico, and The Episcopal Diocese of New York organized an Interfaith Memorial Service and Vigil-March for the 1st Anniversary of Hurricane Maria.

600 people attended the service at ST. BART’S-New York City, in observance of #1YearAfterMaria #BoricuasRemember. After the service, more than 300 hundred people joined the vigil-march to Trump Tower in solidarity with hurricane evacuees and victims’ families.
