NYDIS’ Brooklyn Warehouse & Emergency Response Units

Warehouse: A 14,000-square-foot space that serves as a tangible embodiment of our unwavering commitment to the well-being of all New Yorkers in times of need. Our Warehouse offers loading docks to accept donations via ground delivery services as well as commercial trucking. The facility also provides space for volunteers and staff to sort donations for distribution. Located in Brooklyn’s Industry City, this state-of-the-art facility plays a vital role in supporting NYDIS’ programs, most especially our Emergency Shelter Network, and disaster response efforts. As space allows, NYDIS also offers short-term storage space to members and VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster).

Emergency Response Units: Two Sprinter Vans support our distribution of supplies and donations to NYDIS facilities and shelter partners – and, when activated to respond to emergencies across the five boroughs.

Our warehouse and donations management staff and volunteers are always ready to provide assistance and care with open hearts and capable hands.
